From Cloaked Monk’s March Challenge:
March 2nd is “Read Across America Day” in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Reflect on reading.
For today’s offering form, I chose a septolet:
on basement shelves
forgotten books
dusty pages
hidden worlds
lurking
waiting to be
explored

Echoing Ladynimue…love the words and style. Totally stealing. I am caught by “hidden worlds lurking.” Those books I have behind me on my bottom shelf…lurking? Almost like the unread ones are stalking me. One pulled me in last night!

How sad! One of my whole families favorite places is a used book store. Oh the treasures to be found. Nice write.
